Largest sector at Clínica São Vicente, roughly 90% of all patients go through the Admissions Unit. The unit has rooms, suites, Cellular Therapy and Burned Unit. The rooms are distributed through three stories and equipped with Oxygen net and emergency material – one crash cart and one defibrillator per story.
This unit stitches together doctors, nurses and administrative personnel attending clinical, surgical and oncological of medium complexity level patients. It is located on the first, second and third floors to integrate al the other services in the clinic.
As in the closed units, the Admission Unit at Clínica São Vicente counts on a team of doctors, nurses and technicians on the floors quickening the exchange of information and need of procedures.
Our Burned Unit is the only one in a private hospital between Rio-São Paulo axis and was inaugurated in 2007 under plastic surgeon Dr. Marco Aurélio Pellon’s coordination. This service was designed to attend exclusively burned patients and its structure is similar to a small ICU which includes balneotherapy room for baths and bandaging wounds and also an operating room equipped with monitors, oxygen, defibrillators, a special gurney among other equipments. This unit is located on the third floor and counts with continuous monitoring bed.
Clínica São Vicente’s Cellular Therapy Program was inaugurated in 2006 and is coordinated by Hematologist and Oncologist Dr. Daniel Tabak.
